Annual Events

The HBA provides a variety of networking opportunities for all members. So whether you are an attendee, a volunteer or a sponsor, events are a great way to get involved and build relationships with fellow members and industry professionals. Here is just a sample of what we currently offer:

Chili & Gumbo Cook-off

Members can showcase their culinary skills, all-the-while networking with peers, during this annual spring event.  Teams are comprised of five members with prizes awarded for the best tasting chili, gumbo and best of show.

Spring Fever Golf Tournament

Dust off your clubs and drive the distance at our Spring Fever Golf Tournament. This two-person scramble is a wonderful way to network with other HBA members. $50.00 of each registration also goes to support our local political action committee, HOMEPAC. 

Associate Appreciation Night

Associates, get ready to be waited on hand and foot! Associate Appreciation Night is the builder members' way of saying, "Thank you for all that you do."  This event is coordinated, funded and managed entirely by builders.

Speed Networking

Ever heard of speed dating?  Same concept! But instead, builders and associates pair up for one-on-one networking (5-minutes each). With up to 15 builders in attendance, you won't find a better place to market your product or service.

Annual Holiday Gala

The Annual Gala is an evening of celebration and reminiscence with fellow friends and association members. The evening is a highlight of the past year with special awards, recognition and the installation of the coming year's leadership team.

2012 HOME SHOW

In its 60th year, the HOME SHOW continues to showcase cutting edge technology and trends in home design, all with a festive family atmosphere each spring at Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena). As Arkansas' largest and longest running consumer home tradeshow, companies who participate will have access to nearly 10,000 potential customers annually.

Other HBA events include Mix and Mingles, General Membership Meetings, Roundtables and Education Seminars.
